Institute

History

The Beginning

The International Peace House Institute grew from grassroots peace work in Iran, anchored in the UN Sustainable Development Goals—especially SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. Its founder, drawing on years of leadership within the International Peace Leaders network and as Ambassador of Peace and Friendship, set out a clear vision of people-centered peace diplomacy for Iran and the wider region.

Field Expansion

Provincial offices and trained volunteer networks brought legal counseling, community peacebuilders, and social support closer to communities. Memoranda of understanding with academic centers, universities, and civil-society bodies in neighboring countries made bilingual exchange of experience possible.

The News Portal

In 1405 (2026–2027) the institute launched its official news portal to publish activities, notices, statements, and field reports bilingually in Persian and English, and to preserve a transparent archive of events. This portal is the institute's window onto the international community.
